Join a Classika boot camp!

Boot camps are a great way to get in shape quickly for not a lot of money. We've seen
some amazing transformations over the course of just one or two rounds of boot
camps. All we ask is that you commit to a short-term but far-reaching program when
you get started.

What is a boot camp?

The general concept of a boot camp is an intense fitness program done for a
relatively short time frame. At Classika, boot camp programs run for five weeks, take
one week off, and then begin again for the next five-week time frame.

How often do boot camps meet?

Currently we offer three boot camp sessions in the evenings and one on Saturday
mornings. We also offer some in the mornings based on demand. You can attend as
many as you like, but we strongly encourage you to come to at least three workouts
per week. Remember, the whole idea here is to create a sudden improvement in your
fitness levels within a finite time frame -- just five weeks in our system (and of course
you are welcome to "re-enlist" again). So, coming once per week is not going to help
you too much in your effort to take a step up in your fitness.

What happens during a boot camp?

A boot camp session is an hour of exercise based mostly around bodyweight
exercises. We do a lot of pushups, sit-ups, lunges, and squats. Many times, they are
performed in a circuit. The jump rope makes an appearance on a frequent basis. We
also use the TRX quite a bit as well.

Is there much running involved?

There is some running, however, if you have injuries that prevent you from running we
can certainly work around that.

Are the boot camps indoors or outdoors?

Classika boot camps are mostly indoors but with some outdoor workouts as well. Be
prepared for either when you arrive.

I'm seriously out of shape. Am I going to die or be embarrassed?

No worries -- come on and join us! There are people of all fitness levels. We can
adjust things for people who are very out of shape as well as people in extremely
good shape. And clients always have the option of doing fewer reps than suggested
or simply to take some breaks as you need to. That's normal and nothing to be
ashamed of.
We're one of the only gyms in the
area to make systematic use of the
TRX in our boot camps. What's a
TRX? Watch the video below to
